Personal Trainer Overview

My absolute passion is paving the way to a healthy lifestyle through fitness and nutrition. That passion is deeply rooted from competing in sports such as: football, wrestling, collegiate lacrosse, kickboxing and boxing.

Within the past few years I have really embraced the power of neuroscience. It has given me the ability to rapidly heal pain or enhance athletic performance, and unlock my client's full potential within a few sessions. I thoroughly enjoy developing all populations including USA Olympians, NFL, NBA, UFC and Glory Kickboxing athletes, as well as chronic pain, neurological disorder, and weight loss clientele.

My aim is to provide the brain with the most appropriate input to get amazing output. An individual’s lifestyle, injuries, surgeries, etc. will affect these inputs and usually produce poor outputs. With a thorough assessment, we explore and confirm the input and integration areas that need specific focus to reach each individual’s optimal performance. I look forward to unlocking your full potential and achieving goals you never knew you were capable of!

Training Philosophy

My methods at 3 in 1 Elite are simple. We trust the science in well peer-reviewed research within our 3 Systems, 1 Athlete approach. Our brains receive input via our joints, eyes and balance systems (even our breath, skin and muscles). Based on these inputs and how well they're functioning, your body produces the output of lean muscle tissue, strength, conditioning, speed, power, pain, etc. -whatever your goal may be! We improve these systems by looking at your entire lifestyle and all factors that may be limiting your goals including:

-Quality Mobility

-Weight Training Specificity

-Cardio (aerobic and anaerobic)

-Nutrition: an overall lifestyle approach & debunking common myths

-Mental State

-Mindset

-Environment

-Sleep

-Work

-Relationships

Bio

Looking back, I've always kind of had trainer mentality. When I was a kid, my neighbor's asked me to watch over their overweight dog, Hootie, for a weekend. I made Hootie run with me everyday. When the family returned they mentioned how happy the dog looked and how he had lost weight.

I’ve always been active, and always played sports including: football, all-conference wrestling, kickboxing, boxing and lacrosse (collegiate-level & MVP). This indirectly lead me to study Exercise Physiology. While in school, I interned with the strength and conditioning program at UNC Charlotte for two years and fell in love with training. It was my passion. After graduating, I began a short journey at Velocity Sports Performance and Sports & Fitness and launched my company, 3 in 1 Elite.

I still wanted to learn from the best and decided to move out here to San Diego where I worked under Chad Macias at the Institute For Human Kinetics and one of the most knowledgeable people I've ever met. I’d eventually move on to one of best gyms in San Diego, Fit Athletic Club where I saw a coworker doing vision drills with clients. Had no idea what he was doing, but it was different, unique and I was curious. That led me to the pursuit of a new Master's program in Neuro Sports Performance by Z-health Performance. I quickly received seven certifications within the curriculum, rapidly healing pain and enhancing performance within one or a few sessions. Within a year and a half I was named one of the top trainers by Discover SD Magazine.

I wanted to grow my brand and business which led me to directing the sports performance program at Point Loma Sports Club through 3 in 1 Elite.

Nutrition has also been a passion of mine. After working with a Medicine Chef, Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Dietitian whom have been naturally healing people of various disease and cancers, I sought the top nutrition certification in the world, Precision Nutrition.

I'm proud to be where I am now and I'm just getting started!
